About the Campaign
Senior Kitty in Trouble:
Honey Bun is a senior male kitty who needs dental surgery and tooth extractions to relieve pain and protect his health. Dental disease in older cats isn’t just “bad breath” — it can lead to infection, trouble eating, and serious complications if untreated. Honey Bun’s veterinarian has recommended a full dental procedure with cleaning and extractions, and Christine is urgently seeking help to get him the care he needs.
This problem was first flagged a couple of months ago during a checkup, and Christine has been trying to do the right thing ever since. She searched for an affordable clinic and ultimately found a new primary veterinarian at Rialto Animal Hospital, where Honey Bun has been evaluated and referred for the dental work he needs.
In 2012, he showed up abandoned in Christine’s neighborhood. Neighbors said his previous owners moved away and left him behind. Christine didn’t rush him or force him—she earned his trust the patient way, through feedings and kindness. Then on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 2012, Honey Bun finally came in for good.
Christine lives alone and survives on a fixed income through Social Security. Over the years, her circle has grown smaller and smaller. A close friend of 30 years, who she lived with, passed away in 2020. And most recently, Christine lost her beloved cat Aladdin on February 3, 2026, after 19 years together.
Financially, there is no cushion for a sudden surgery. She has no children to lean on, no extra income, and she has already done the hard work of finding a veterinary option she trusts. What she needs now is help covering the cost of the dental procedure so Honey Bun can eat comfortably again and avoid the risks that come with untreated infection.
Donations will go toward Honey Bun’s dental surgery, including cleaning and necessary extractions, as recommended by his veterinarian. All donations are paid only to the veterinarian. Estimate below, click to enlarge:

Please edit your stories so they’re more believable. On the title page, you refer to Honey Bun multiple times as a male, but also numerous times as a Female. This is unhelpful and confusing, and indicates unfamiliarity with the actual animal, and thus, a possible Scam. Please fix this to ensure trust and more donations to the Vet. bills!

I read the post & I don’t read anywhere that this cat is referred as a female. All I see cat is a male. I have donated $ to this org for 3 yrs. Very reliable. I have made friends from pet owners who have benefitted from free animal doctor.

19 months ago, I was badly injured. I was hospitalized for 10 days and then in a rehab facility for 3 weeks. While in the facility, I got an early morning call, my house was on fire. I lost many beloved cats. There were 5 survivors . 3 semi feral and 2 indoors. Both indoors cats were injured. They had to recover without help( friends put down food & water,) My little Timmie lost his earsc and part of his tail and injured his leg . Bless him. By the time I was mobile and able to trap him and the PTSD others, he had basically recovered. HE was doing well, but in the last few months he started to have what I perceived as panic attacks from PTSD. He would cry out and run …crazily …even into a wall. He started to lose weight. IT took me some timr to connect that these incidentsx were connected with food. More specifically eating. He always seemed to be hungry, and when I put food down he would always start to eat.
I was reluctant to take him to a vet as he seemed so fragile , which again I thought was PTSD, but eventually I did , he was terrified when I tried to get him in a carrier. But he needed to go.
It was stomatitis!! My poor little fella had been a struggling with excruciating pain, every time he tried to eat. He is only about 3 years old.
He had some reeth extracted and is doing so.much better now. He will probably have to have some more teeth removed, and will only be eating soft food. But he is doing so much better now.

Thank you:) yes he is handsome. It was so precious to see him at his cat buddy Alladdins bedside while in Aladdins passing stages. Honey Bun is the last survivor of my fur baby family. Im sad. Now Im trying to save and give H9ney Bun his quality of life he deserves. We are almost at our goal and still waiting and praying for the rest to come thru. As soon as it does we are starting the treatment.

I just wanted to help, because I know how it feels to not be able to provide for my fur babies. Hope in return someone will do the same if I ever needed help.
