Meet Blazer

Blazer is an adorable, 3 year old, feline who’s going through some awful changes. Around early September, Blazer began to break out in this terrible rash. His skin was red and his fur became patchy. When his owner, Tiffany, noticed this she immediately took him in to the vet. After examining Blazer, the vet found something that needed more immediate attention.

Blazer needed some serious dental work. As far as his skin, there was mention of pyoderma (common bacterial infection). However, a skin scraping would need to be done in order to determine the root of Blazer’s skin issues. This poor feline has become less than loving through this change. Tiffany has had Blazer since he was just a kitten (owning his mom) so this change is very worrisome for her.

At a time, Blazer loved to cuddle, play with his other feline friends, and meow your ears off! Now, Blazer isn’t interested in cuddles. He doesn’t want to be picked up or loved. Poor Blazer scurries and hides away from everyone. Meaning, he must be in quite a bit of pain.
