Sick kitty needs just

a little help right now!

Billy the Kitty, he’s a rescue. Brian adopted him from the Northridge animal shelter years ago, went there to get a little black kitten than need a home, and Billy was there waiting!

Last week Billy was real sick. He kept throwing up all night, even when there was nothing left to throw up. Brian took him to the ER vet in at 4am, and then to a local vet later that day, spending all $1200 he had in his account, literally down to his last $30.

Brian is a painter, and painted this of Billy:

They did x-rays, and blood work, and gave Billy some standard medications, but all they came up with was there is some sort of mass near Billy’s pancreas. The x-ray cannot show it that clearly, so the doctor recommended a CT-Scan, but that is like $5000! Brian doesn’t have credit, and really is down to the 30 bucks. He managed to get the vet that has seen Billy for most of Billy’s life to squeeze him in with an emergency appointment. Below are the bills Brian paid to get Billy urgent treatment:

That doctor knows Brian and the situation, and he said probably an ultrasound would do enough. He needs to get an idea what this mass is, and where it is. Brian borrowed enough to get the deposit paid. The ultrasound is done by an outside person who visits the clinic. Billy is scheduled for Thursday, the 21st. But Brian has to have the remaining $400 by then, or no ultrasound for Billy. All donations here will be paid only to the vet, only if Billy gets the ultrasound test.
