Little Annie has a badly broken leg!

Her family took her in as a stray, and needs help with costs.

Annie is now a little over  one year-old, but she showed up as a kitten only a few months old at Lynn’s house last year. They fed her, and put out water and eventually she became their house cat, but they still let her outside.

The other day she came home with a badly injured rear leg. As you can see in the pictures, it is twisted strangely, and obviously broken. We got Annie to our vet in Pasadena, and though we don’t know the exact cause, some serious trauma damaged her leg. Was she hit by a car or other vehicle? Hit with a weapon like a stick or bat? We don’t know. No bite injures or cuts, so it’s hard to know… maybe she just fell from a high spot?

The good news is she is young, and should heal well with surgery. But surgery is needed with a break like this, or she will have to lose her leg. We have arranged a very good price for the orthopedic surgery needed, and all donations are only paid to the vet!

Let’s help this little stray who finally found a home! Meeeeew!
