About the Campaign

Tumor is growing so big,

twisting her joint now!

Zoey has a tumor on her arm, around her shoulder, that has suddenly gotten so big it is twisting her shoulder joint. She is having trouble walking, and the doctor says it will damage the ligaments and lead to bad arthritis and other problems.

See how the shoulder is pushed out and twisted:

She is a nine year-old Australian Shepherd mix, which Roland got as a puppy for his mom Ai and dad when he left home for college. Zoey became his mom’s dog, even more so when her husband passed away from COVID complications in 2020.

Back in 2021, Ai took Zoey to the vet for a small bump where this large tumor is now, and the vet said it was benign and not to worry about it. And for a few years that seemed to be the case, but last year it suddenly got quite large. Ai took Zoey to the vet again in December and they said it definitely needs to be removed.

Ai lives with her sister in Oxnard, California and both are seniors on Social Security. They can afford the occasional vet visit, but this surgery cost is much more than they can come up with. It is urgent that the tumor get removed, they have been trying to get help and just saw about our program on TV recently. We’d like to get funding for Zoey quickly, and all donations here are only for Zoey and paid only to the veterinarian when surgery is performed.

Having 3 digs of my own, I know how expensive vet costs can be.
I pray the necessary funds are donated to Zoe. She certainly looks like a sweetheart.
