About the Campaign

A big ol’ happy boy!

Tyson is usually a hyperactive dog. A big bouncy happy boy, licking people and running around, almost a little nutty!

But now this seven year old guy has a tumor on his anal gland, it is a little hard to see in pictures, but a big knotty tumor is there. His owner Sharon noticed just recently and took him to Doctor Tarantino at Blue Ridge Plaza Vet Clinic right away.

We talked to the doctor, and he says the tumor has to be removed, but surgery cannot be done until more is known. To that end the doc wants to do an aspiration, a thin needle to check the tissue. It is not too much money, but it has to go to an outside lab so the doc cannot do too much about the cost.

Tyson’s owner is on social security, only about $900 a month, and doesn’t have the money available to pay him. This fundraiser is to get Tyson’s tumor tested in the lab and see what is going on.

Tyson the Puppy

Sharon adopted him from her mailman when Tyson was a puppy, his dog had puppies, and he’s been a great dog ever since. Now he is lying around depressed. Tyson knows he is sick, and it probably is painful too. Let’s get him on the path to treatment! All donations are specifically for him and paid only to the vet for Tyson’s care.
