The picture tells the story
Little girl needs this tumor gone!
Tiny the Chihuahua is about 12 years-old. She was rescued over eight years ago by Christianne, and Tiny’s exact age is not known. Christianne is disabled and uses a power wheelchair, taking Tiny with her everywhere, and always dressing Tiny up in various outfits!

Christianne had been stuck at home because of the COVID pandemic. Also, the vet she usually took Tiny to has retired. The tumor on Tiny’s mouth grew up quickly, and it was hard for Christianne to get in to a new vet as where she is in Torrance, California there is a waiting list to see most veterinarians right now. She did get Tiny to one vet, who did not offer much conclusive help, and frustrated Christianne did not know what to do.
She is also on a limited income, and does not have the money to visit a specialist nor to get special attention or a home visit. Fortunately she found Free Animal Doctor and we arranged an emergency appointment at Westside Pet Clinic in Santa Monica. Christianne had to arrange a car service to take her to the appoint as this is about 20+ miles from Torrance where Tiny was fully tested and x-rayed.
Tiny’s bill which Free Animal Doctor paid due to the urgent nature of the situation and because of the support of donors to our General Fund:
Westside Pet Clinic did x-rays of Tiny’s chest and sent them to a specialist at no charge, and it looks like Tiny has cancer in her lungs. The doctor gives Tiny about a half to a year, but honestly at her age (at least 12, probably older) a year is pretty good. The doctor would still like to remove the tumor because:
- It is painful
- It could grow into the mouth and make it impossible to eat
- The tumor could burst, and become infected
Tiny still has the opportunity to have a happy life for a year or so, and to bring joy to her mom Christianne. Let’s get this tumor off of her so she can live happily for the time she has left! Thank you!

July 6th, 2021
Tiny had surgery July 1st. She has recovered and is doing well! The tumor is gone, and she is getting more comfortable everyday and will be “normal” pretty soon! Donors made this happen for Tiny and her disabled owner who loves her so so much. THANK YOU! (Note, video and picture below is mildly graphic)
