About the Campaign
Full Dental Extraction to End Her Pain
Tiffany is a young, 2–3-year-old cat who’s already been through more than most. Found on the street with mange, she was taken in by Karolyn, an independent rescuer who thought Tiffany might be pregnant. Thankfully, she wasn’t—but she did need immediate treatment for her skin condition. Karolyn gave her a safe place to heal, and now Tiffany is facing her next challenge: debilitating dental disease.
It started with bad breath and drooling, then got worse. Tiffany lost interest in food—both dry and wet—and a week ago, Karolyn noticed her pawing at her mouth in obvious discomfort. A vet visit confirmed the problem was much more serious than expected: Tiffany needs a full mouth extraction to stop the pain and restore her ability to eat.
Karolyn, who works at the very vet’s office where Tiffany was seen, applied for Care Credit—but was declined. She’s already stretched thin covering another emergency surgery for a rescue cat named Mara, who recently had an eye removed. While Karolyn might have been able to manage a standard dental cleaning or one or two extractions, the cost of a full mouth extraction is simply beyond her means.
She lives with her partner Jose, who works in a warehouse, and their blended family of four kids. Like many animal lovers, Karolyn quietly does everything she can to help animals in need—without much help herself.
Tiffany is still young. With this surgery, she has a full, happy life ahead of her—pain-free and full of purring. Your donation will go directly to the vet to fund Tiffany’s care. Estimate below, click to enlarge:

My husband and I have seen Tiffany at our local Petco for over a year now. We could feel her love through the window, and if we hadn’t just welcomed two cats to our home, we would have loved to take her.
It breaks my heart to see her not doing well. I wish her luck, health, and a long, happy life.

She has been in a cage for a year!!! This article does not say this. Only rescue groups are in petco and PetSmart.
I want details. I donate to a lot of campaigns and hers. She is rotting in a cage in pain and been there for over a year?!

Hi Debbie. To clarify, Tiffany is a part of a rescue. Before her health issues, she would go to Petcos during the day in order to be seen by potential adopters. She goes home at night to her foster just like any other cat. She is NOT rotting in the cage. Tiffany is receiving care by a loving foster.
I am not a part of the rescue. I simply keep up with Tiffany because I want her to find a home.
