Urgent Plea for Tico!

He started pooping blood Saturday afternoon, July 14th!

UPDATE JULY 16: (Original Post Below)

Tico is diagnosed with HGE, Hemorrhagic Gastroenteritis…. which is rare and weird, but may be a silver lining since he got to the vet fast. He spent the weekend in the ER, but Monday morning his vitals and blood levels are normal. He isn’t eating, and seems depressed. But the vet thinks this is because he is away from home, not because he is still ill, and wants him to go home, and see how he does.

His mom Cassie rescued him as a puppy, he is only 1 year-old now. Cassie and her kids love him to the moon and back, but the family doesn’t have much money and almost no available funds.

Tico not doing well:

He started pooping blood, and now keeps trying to poop but can’t. He is acting strange, and now fading. He needs to get to the ER vet ASAP but the family just doesn’t have the ability to give them money.

We do not usually do emergencies on our fundraisers, due to the nature of fundraising which takes time, but we were asked to make an exception by the AMAZING Faith Easdale who has personally rescued 100’s of dogs herself!!! If you can help, please do. We will post more info and vet estimates as we get them. This is happening now and is a fluid, evolving situation. THANK YOU!!!!!
