About the Campaign

Needs CT Scan & Liver Biopsy Now

Tibooty Cutie, a 12-year-old Shih Tzu, has dangerously high liver values. Six months ago, Nicolette requested a senior blood panel just to check on her aging dog—and the results came back urgent. Follow-up tests confirmed that Tibooty’s liver levels were “through the roof.”

Specialists have made it clear: before anything can be done, Tibooty must first get a CT scan to check her lymph nodes. If those look clear, she will immediately need a liver biopsy. Until these are done, no treatment can begin, and Tibooty’s health is declining. She is weak, lethargic, and not her usual stubborn, spirited self.

To make matters worse, during a routine anal gland cleaning the vet found a growth. They won’t remove it until Tibooty’s liver is cleared for surgery—which means the CT scan and biopsy are now even more urgent.

Nicolette has had Tibooty since adopting her from the East Valley Shelter 12 years ago. She remembers Tibooty running outside the kennel, the happiest little dog she’d ever seen. Ever since, Tibooty has been the perfect companion: defiant, stubborn, and endlessly lovable. She also shares her home with two more rescues, Archie and Snowzu, making the cost of care even harder to manage.

Right now, work has slowed down dramatically for Nicolette, who teaches singing lessons. Summer brought fewer students, and her income has dropped to the point where she is barely keeping up with bills. Covering the cost of advanced diagnostics is impossible on her own.

Tibooty Cutie has given Nicolette twelve years of love and laughter. With your support, she can finally get the testing she needs—her CT scan and biopsy—and move forward toward treatment and a better quality of life. Every donation goes directly to her veterinary care.
