Tessi had a bad eye,

and now has bad teeth!

Tessi is 12, and her teeth are just not that good. She had some pulled like four plus years ago, but her breath is bad now (again) and as you can see in the picture below, her gums are inflamed. Doc says she needs some of them pulled, and a cleaning.

Her owner Marcia has a little back of rescue dogs, and she adopts older ones having trouble finding a home, so the expenses add up too. Tessi and the pack:

Also, Tessi just had eye surgery, a procedure to save her eye, though she will probably be blind in that eye permanently. You can see how cloudy the eye is now:

Tessi was given up to the shelter years ago, and when there got adopted and returned a number of times before Marcia adopted her. She is a nervous dog, and scared especially of men, but she has fit in well in her home, and should live out her senior years with no dental pain. All donations are held by us and paid only to the vet for Tessi. The doctor gave an oral guess-estimate of about $1000, which honestly isn’t too high, and Marcia has about $300 saved up also, so it won’t take that much to make things a lot better for Tessi!
