About the Campaign
Tank is only 6 years-old, but he’s just about unable to walk!
Surrendered to SoCal Bulldog Rescue, Tank is a very sweet and friendly guy. He was walking funny and when the rescue had him thoroughly examined by the vet, it was determined that both his ACL’s (both rear knees) were damaged.
Unfortunately a bad ACL leads to a worse ACL and a bad ACL in one leg can make the other go bad (due the extra weight the animal will place on the non-injured leg). Right now Tank’s condition is bad, but not terrible. However, it will get worse without surgery, and if the ACL fully tears in either knee, he will not be able to walk.
Tank Right Now
Sadly Tank isn’t allowed to do much right now because he could injure his knees more. The veterinarian notes that his right knee is much worse than his left knee. For now the hope is he can have corrective surgery to his right knee, buying him some time before surgery on his left knee will be required.
SoCal Bulldog Rescue was not expecting this expense when they accepted Tank as an owner surrender and could use everyone’s help in getting this surgery paid for! Tank has been seen by the vet, his prognosis is good, now he just needs to get his surgery paid for so he can be on his road to recovery! Can you help Tank today!!!?? WOOF!
