Stranz needs a tumor removal on his backside!!

Stranz is a beautiful bloodhound. He is what his doctor considers on the young side of 11. He shows so much life to give but he has a massive tumor on his anus. The tumor is on the outside of his body so every time he sits, goes to the bathroom or moves and it touches the tumor… Stranz is in constant discomfort

Mario, Stranz pet parent, says the smallest bump against it will make it bleed. Mario got Stranz as a gift from his father. He wants to make sure he does everything he can for Stranz.

The tumor was first noticed back in November. Mario took Stranz to the vet where they recommended medication and ointment to see if the mass would shrink or heal on its own. Unfortunately, the mass only got bigger. Mario’s household is a single income so the surgery is out of the budget.

The vet recommends to removes the mass (anal adenoma) and neuter Stranz at the same time. Sometimes the cause of these tumors are being intact. Neutering will help prevent anymore tumors in the future. Currently, Stranz stays inside and is unable to do much of his previous activity due to his tumor. Mario has to make sure that the area Stranz is in is clean and safe.

Stranz just wants to feel better! He can’t wait to get back in the water!
