About the Campaign

Spud will not eat,

his teeth hurt so much

Spud’s owner died and the children brought him to the vet to be put to sleep. But Spud seemed happy and active, although two of his teeth fell out when the doctor examined Spud’s mouth!

Soul2Soul Animal Rescue got a phone call from the veterinarian: “I’ve got this very sweet senior dog here, and I don’t want to put him to sleep… could your rescue take him in?” And fortunately for Spud, they did!

Unfortunately, Spud had another tooth fall out on the drive to his foster home. And he wouldn’t eat. So the rescue got him schedule in for dental surgery right away, happening next week. Now his foster is liquifying food, and preparing soups. Spud will eat some of this, but not enough. It is clear his mouth really hurts, and he is way too skinny!

This expense was unexpected and the rescue is not funded for it, so Spud needs everyone’s help to get out of pain and back to eating normally. All donations are specifically for Spud, and paid only to the vet clinic when the surgery is done!

Love me a senior and what a cutie. Keeping good thoughts all goes well. Nothing worse then tooth/nerve pain.
