Dental Surgery to Stop Her Pain
Her teeth are badly infected, likely due to advanced gum disease, and she needs extractions and treatment as soon as possible to avoid worsening infections and constant discomfort.
Soleil’s owner, Freebird, has loved Soleil since she was a kitten. Adopted from a private rescue for a $150 rehoming fee about 5 years ago, Soleil reminded her of the cat she’d lost just a year before! Freebird has a soft spot for animals in need. She’s helped with local TNR efforts and opened her home to multiple sibling pairs of rescued cats and two senior dogs. Her heart’s always been in the right place. But now she’s overwhelmed.
Back in February, Soleil was at the vet for a routine checkup when they found the extent of her dental problems. Freebird has spent the months since trying to figure out how to pay for the surgery, but it’s become clear she can’t do it alone. Her electricity has even been shut off recently, she’s been out of work, and she’s recovering from her own major surgery just two weeks ago!
Freebird normally works multiple jobs—at Universal Studios, the YMCA, and as a personal trainer—all while going to school full-time as a Film Production major. But now, she’s under strict instructions not to return to work while she heals.
Soleil doesn’t have time to wait. Her condition is treatable, and with dental surgery she can be free of pain and infection. But she needs help to get there. Your donation will go directly to Soleil’s veterinary care. The estimate is below, and will be closer to the high end. Click on it to enlarge:
