About the Campaign
Imagine, you need to pee
but you cannot!
Poor Simpson: he’s struggling to urinate, and surgery is his only option. Two-year-old Simpson has been part of Aya’s life since she found him and his siblings as tiny kittens in a tree hollow back in 2022. Raised with love, Simpson has already faced a major challenge—he had to have his tail amputated due to a neurological issue.
Aya first noticed something was wrong when Simpson strained in the litter box, clearly in pain. Blood appeared in his urine, and the vet initially suspected an infection. Diet changes didn’t help, and further testing revealed the real cause—Simpson’s condition is tied to stress and diet. He now needs surgery to fix the issue, followed by lifelong medication to keep him healthy and pain-free.
Aya has been doing everything she can, but the cost of surgery is out of reach. She’s a college nursing student, balancing school with caring for her dad, who was seriously injured while driving for Uber. He saved his passenger’s life but was left unable to work—one wrong move could leave him paralyzed. Aya and her mom are now his caregivers while struggling with mounting medical bills.
Despite everything, Aya still has a heart for animals. She found Simpson and his siblings while feeding stray animals in Tennessee, but now she needs help saving him. Your donation will go directly toward Simpson’s surgery, giving him the relief he desperately needs. The estimate is below (click to enlarge):
