About the Campaign

Seymore passed away, campaign is closed as we get details.

His eye is the big problem

Obviously Seymore’s eye is the most visible issue he has. This little guy was named Bullwinkle in the shelter, and was set to be put to sleep. He was quite aggressive and could not be handled. But then shelters are not always the most understanding handlers, and his condition is painful. And he’s small. When your small and scarred, how might you act?

The shelter gave up on him, you can see a post about him HERE. But fortunately some rescuers got to him. Debi is fostering him, and if you watch the short video above, you can see he doesn’t try to bite her at all.

But his eye is clearly painful, and needs to be removed. He also needs a full blood test, as he is at least 8 years old, maybe older and has clearly not had much medical care all his life. Then some vaccines and a neuter, and this guy will be ready to find a forever home.

Hair loss might indicate a hormone problem, but maybe just stress and a poor diet. A blood test will tell a lot more:

Debi arranged an old-school vet for him, with old school prices, which is fantastic, but we don’t get a detailed estimate from him, just a quick text from reception. That is below (click it to enlarge). All donations are paid only to the vet, so please donate to help Seymore in confidence!
