About the Campaign

This cutie was found on the streets alone

Scotty was found as a stray by a Good Samaritan. Scotty had a collar & tag on and the owner was contacted. However, we were told his owner is too old to care for him and the family did not want him back.

Heart & Home Rescue was contacted and took him in and placed him with a foster. When Scotty was first found he was in bad condition from being on the streets alone.  His foster mom say he is a happy senior dog highly motivated by attention. He loves other humans and dogs.

In the last three weeks, the cataracts had progress so quickly and  he has developed lens luxation.  The vet also said he has 60% of his vision left in his left eye. The vet recommends surgery for lens removal and expects a 90% success rate.

Heart & Home Rescue took care of his initial medical bills. Scotty needed vet care from the condition from being on the streets and they paid for him to be neutered. Any donations would be put towards this little guy getting back his sight. He will make the perfect companion once he is all healed.
