About the Campaign

Let’s get Sasha a good home!

This very sweet girl is a repeat offender. Frequently escaping her home, and being returned by the local Humane Society. But her owner’s negligence went beyond that, and the last time she escaped the Humane Society confiscated her.

Sasha had this terrible, untreated tumor on her tail, and other tumors not at visible. There was a skin infection. Her ears were in bad shape. Just lots of neglect. The sad thing is, the shelter confiscated her, but then scheduled her to be put to sleep because of her condition!

The tail tumor:

Fortunately the rescue Lionel’s Legacy got her out, and then had to get her immediate surgery on her tail (actually an amputation) because there was necrotic tissue (dead tissue that can spread and become fatal). They were not expecting to have to do that as an emergency, and set back their funding for Sasha.

Tail is gone, and so is the tumor!

She will need a second surgery to remove other tumors and get spayed. But once all her tumors are removed, and she is spayed, Sasha can get adopted… and this time to a good home that will take care of her!

Her estimate is below, but the tail surgery has already been done. It was originally planned to be all done at once. Now with the second surgery the cost is basically doubled, as the main expense is just the surgery set up. You can see estimate below and please click to enlarge:

Every creature deserves love and kindness. I dislike seeing these poor babies suffer.

Sasha has already been through so much. This beautiful girl deserves so much better! Let’s all pitch in and get her the surgery she needs to finally heal and be pain free, and then she can be adopted into a loving and caring forever home. ❤️
