Painful tumors on his back leg

Rusty is a rescued cat who has had an amazing life with his mom, Sandra. Sandra took him from a family that no longer wanted him and was considering putting him down. Sandra had met Rusty before and knew he was a great cat. He has never had any health issues and Sandra makes sure he stays inside.

Last month Sandra noticed small sized bumps on his left back leg. She took him into the vet where they thought one was a cyst and one was a tumor. The vet suggests removal of the bumps and testing them for cancerous cells. Two days before surgery they vet will do a senior panel and check his blood to make sure he is a candidate for surgery. Sandra isn’t 100% sure on his age but thinks he is about 10-13 years old. Vet doesn’t have any concern about the anesthesia for Rusty.

Sandra is asking for help for Rusty, she has lost her job and doesn’t have the extra funds for his surgery.

Sandra was given medicine to keep the wounds healthy until surgery is an option. Sandra will also wrap the wound but Rusty is able to take it off sometimes.

I feel so bad for you. I know how much you love Rusty. I’m especially in your corner considering we just lost our beautiful right to a large tumor. She had cancer too. We are facing a major bathroom remodel which is going to cost us around $10,000 out of pocket.
I will try to help you I just don’t know how much I can. I’m just grateful that we had all that cat food for you.
