Ow! Impacted Tooth!

Rosie, a 10-year-old Pitbull mix, is suffering from a badly impacted tooth that’s causing painful swelling in her face. She also has around 30 skin tags, lumps, and bumps that need to be removed and checked for anything serious. She can’t move forward until these medical issues are resolved—but if she gets the care she needs, she already has a forever home lined up.

Rosie was almost euthanized two months ago at Baldwin Park shelter. A favorite among volunteers, she was calm, sweet, great with people and other dogs—but she was surrendered due to a housing issue and labeled as “too old.” Sabrina from Sweet Angel Dog Rescue stepped in just in time. Her rescue focuses solely on saving dogs at risk of euthanasia, especially those that are overlooked.

Since pulling Rosie, Sabrina’s team has been overwhelmed with emergency cases—distemper outbreaks, urgent care, and nonstop vet bills from other shelter pulls. Rosie has been bouncing between fosters, but now she’s in a safe, stable home with someone ready to adopt her—once her health is taken care of.
