URGENT: Possible Blockage
Rome, a 4-month-old Husky puppy, has been struggling for nearly a week—vomiting up food, unable to keep anything down, and growing weaker by the day. His mom, April, has tried everything—chicken, rice, different foods—but nothing stays down. Worse, he hasn’t had a bowel movement in nearly six days, raising serious concerns about a possible blockage.
April took Rome in when he was just six weeks old, saving him from being abandoned at the pound. Since then, he’s been a bright spot in her family’s life, especially for her daughter, Lilly, who has faced her own hardships. But now, Rome needs help, and April is out of options.
A single mother, April works as an in-home caretaker for her own mother, Rockie, who has serious mobility issues after multiple hip and knee replacements. Between caring for her mom full-time and trying to make ends meet for her family, April simply cannot afford the emergency vet care that Rome desperately needs. She’s already been declined for Care Credit, and time is running out.
A blockage can quickly become life-threatening, and Rome may need urgent surgery. Right now, he needs diagnostic tests to confirm what’s going on and begin treatment before it’s too late. Your donation—no matter the amount—can help save this puppy’s life. All donations are for Rome only, no fees taken out, tax deductible. ER treatment requirement below, click to enlarge:

I had a dog with similar circumstances and I want a better outcome for Rome.
