Happened this Saturday Afternoon!
Rocy needs immediate, urgent surgery to save her eye!
She was let out with her Bassett Hound friend Layla, like they always are, and when her owner -Misty- went to let them in, Rocy was hiding.
Misty found her hiding under the awning, and saw the eye, POPPED OUT! No idea what happened. No sound, no sign of attack. We will try to figure that out later, but for now Rocy needs surgery fast.
Misty rushed her to her vet just two blocks away, who was still open. They told her to immediately go to Pet ER Speciality Center, where they want to perform surgery tonight.
How you can help
Misty has $300 cash. She was denied Care Credit. The ER vet (as is standard here in California) requires a substantial deposit of nearly the entire cost before performing surgery.
All donations are only for Rocy, and we will pay them only to the vet. If Rocy does not receive surgery, we will refund all donations. This one is urgent. Updates will be posted as we get them along with more photos and documents. Can you please help Rocy save her eye!?

I just want to help. Its not much, but I was in a similar situation with my Lucy about a year ago. I also know how much it hurts to see your puppy hurting. Its not much, but if we all help a little it’ll help a lot.

I love chihuahuas (my Tiny is a Chihuahua and he is 15 years old and not in good health). My heart sunk when I saw little Rocy’s eye. I hope you will be able to collect the amount needed to pay for her surgery. Stay well little Rocy, I love you. Sonia and Tiny
