About the Campaign
Rocky should be 140-150 pounds,
he weighs 100
Just last week the Martinez family saw a man holding Rocky down with a leash and hitting Rocky over and over. They intervened and the man yelled at them to take “the stupid dog” and he ran off.
Of course they were afraid Rocky might be aggressive, and he is big, if skinny… but Rocky turned out to be the sweetest boy ever.
Rocky gets along great with their dog, and their children. Great temperament, and very loving… he is the Goodest Boy!
Rocky went to the vet and got a basic checkup. He is very underweight, and he walks funny. The doctor says he is so underweight it may be that his body mass cannot support his big body well, and perhaps bulking up and getting some good muscle and ligaments going will help a lot. He may also have some knee or hip damage.
Doc wants to do X-rays and some tests, and go from there. The family wasn’t expecting a new dog, and Rocky is not cheap to feed (and he is HUNGRY)! They are a big family of four children, and need help to cover what Rocky needs. We say, let’s help out! Rocky was rescued, and he isn’t in the shelter. Sounds good! All donations are held here, and only paid to the vet directly, so you are donating directly to Rocky. Sounds good too, right? Thank you for considering a donation for him 🙂
