About the Campaign

Just a Baby!

Hit by a car, leg broken severely!

Owners kept him 3 days, then dumped him!

Fortunately a good samaritan got him, and contacted the rescue team of Dream Fetchers in San Bernardino, California. They arranged for him to get immediate vet care, but cannot afford this unexpected bill!

You can help with a donation in any amount RIGHT NOW!!!

We will let the photos and video tell Roadie’s story! Watch below! He had to lose one leg, but the vet thinks the others can be saved. There is an eye injury too, but for now it seems to be getting better, so we will see. He may need one eye removed, but hopefully not!

All donations are paid only to the vet for Roadie or the rescue for Roadie! Please help donate today!!!

I am so disgusted. Can charges be brought against Roadie’s horrible humans?

Poor baby – lucky to have endured being hit, then left in agony for days – thankfully he was rescued and is on the road to recovery.

I am currently fostering a 1 1/2 year old pup that was hit by car, fractured pelvis/plate and hip/fho…his 8-12 week recovery ended up turning into 16 weeks of restricted activity due to the extent of damage; he has been the most patient “patient” ever, I even taught him to play staying stationary so as to not injure himself as his bones healed. It is not the easiest thing to keep a young puppy from playing, PB was feeling so much better at 8 weeks and started to become more mobile; when he hears me say NO RUNNING, he slows down to a trot…still need to keep him calm as he has sutures on his tail stub, but increasing his daily activity has helped him regain muscle tone. Thankfully, he has done great in his recovery, and the physical therapy was not needed; hoping for a good outcome for Roadie boy too.

Roadie appears to be an awesome patient as well, he shows his gratitude like my boheamouth foster, all happy, wiggles, and tail wags. Unfortunately PB is still in a cone – week 22 – as he had to have his tail amputated after splitting it open exposing bone, the day he was cleared for activity – he goes in Thursday 6th for his 2nd post-OP appt. My poor guy can’t catch a break…but like Roadie, has a wonderful happy disposition…it literally saved PB’s life…and it seems Roadie’s life too.

Thank goodness for the angels who have helped Roadie, hopes and prayers that he has a quick and uneventful recovery, without any complications – and he finds his forever family soon ❤ swift recovery little dude!
