About the Campaign

Rico has loose, broken rear teeth,

and gum disease.

His owner, Tanisha, noticed that he was chattering his teeth and she thought that strange. Normally she wouldn’t check his back teeth, but she managed to get a good look and could clearly see they were loose.

Tanisha used to take him for teeth cleanings, but stopped a few years ago for financial reasons. They had tried the dental chews, but he would throw them up, so they had stopped that as well. She took him to two different veterinarians, and has gotten a very good price for his surgery. He will need at least two, and possible more, rear teeth removed, and he has gum disease as well.

Tanisha got Rico as a puppy 10 years ago, and he has been a happy healthy dog, and a big friend to her young son Zane. He is a sweet family dog, and deserves to have his golden years pain free and happy! The family recently moved back home to Texas, for financial reasons, and have just gotten back on their feet with a truck driving job. They are behind on bills and catching up, and cannot get Care Credit.

All donations here are held by Free Animal Doctor and only paid directly to the vet when the surgery is performed. If you would like to help Rico get the surgery he needs to be pain free and enjoy eating and playing tug-o-war with Zane again, please make a donation today in confidence! You donation will go only to Rico’s care! Thank you.
