Rex: A Beloved Family Dog

Rex is an 11-year-old dog who has been a beloved member of a family since he was a puppy. He’s always been a healthy and happy dog, but earlier this month, the family noticed something wasn’t quite right. Rex had developed a tumor-like mass and was experiencing vomiting and constipation.

The family took him to the vet right away, and the vet recommended some initial tests and medications. The family has already spent around $900 on these treatments, but they are still waiting on the results of some bloodwork to determine the next steps. It’s possible that Rex will need surgery to remove the mass, but they won’t know for sure until they get the results back. He’s just started this treatment last week.

The thought of losing their beloved family dog is just too much to bear. In the meantime, they are doing their best to make ends meet and take care of Rex. They don’t have a lot of financial resources, as they are both young and don’t qualify for loans or credit cards. They are working hard to provide for their family, with one partner working in a swim shop and the other working in a cafe.
