About the Campaign
Help Remy Walk Without Pain
Meet Remy—a gentle, loving six-year-old pup who has brought endless joy and comfort to his family, especially his devoted mom, Staci. Remy has always had a huge heart and a resilient spirit. Unfortunately, he’s had more than his fair share of medical challenges, starting with bilateral TPLO surgeries four years ago, and now he’s facing a serious threat to his mobility once again.
This past September, Remy was excitedly running inside when he slipped on a wooden floor and took a nasty tumble. By the next day, he was paralyzed and had to be rushed to the ER. Over a few days, Remy miraculously regained some mobility, but he has continued to experience periodic flare-ups—losing strength and control in his front leg or sometimes in his rear legs, leaving him off-balance and in pain. The neurology specialist believes he has a bulging or slipped disc in his neck, requiring an MRI to confirm.
For Staci, this situation is especially challenging. She recently lost her job and has her own neurological condition, forcing her to stop working. She’s currently applying for SSDI and doing everything she can to keep Remy comfortable—adjusting his medications has provided some relief, but the underlying problem still needs to be addressed.
Because Remy is only six years old, we know that if he receives the surgery and care he needs, he’ll have many happy, healthy, tail-wagging years ahead of him.
Staci has already raised $1,450 through a GoFundMe, but the expenses for Remy’s MRI and potential surgery are overwhelming. Your generosity will help keep Remy’s bright spirit shining and his loving heart beating strong for years to come, and all donations are held here and paid only to the vet clinic!
