About the Campaign
Remington the Rat Terrier
Remington might look familiar. Here is his old campaign: https://freeanimaldoctor.org/campaigns/remington/
Remington had a tumor that was the size of a softball. He had a successful surgery and the tumor was removed without complications.
Now he needs a 2 view x-ray. He is having some dental issues where he has a mass on his mouth and his teeth need to be examined. The vet believes it is a malignant tumor due to the smell. The x-rays will help let the doctor see if there is 1. cancer in the lungs and 2. to see the mass better on his mouth. Donna, Remington’s mom couldn’t afford the bloodwork so x-ray’s are the cheaper way of looking for cancer. If the cancer has spread, in dogs the first place it typically goes is the lungs. That is why the x-ray is needed.
Remington and his sister
Currently, Remington is on antibiotics and pain medicine to help control the infection in his mouth and the pain from the mass.
Remington’s owner has other rescue dogs that needed medical help and now she has a debt with the vet for a pyometria surgery.
Due to COVID-19 the vet office gave the vet estimate over the phone to Donna.
Donna did start a Facebook campaign but is currently at $0 raised.
