Sinus Infection
Rascal, a 7-year-old cat, has been Rhonda’s loyal companion since 2017. Rhonda first met Rascal through a foster program while she was studying at a veterinary school. The moment she took him in, she knew he was meant to stay. Rascal, with his sweet and attention-seeking personality, quickly became part of Rhonda’s family.
For the past few months, Rascal has been struggling with a serious sinus infection, which has left him uncomfortable and in need of urgent care. Despite his previous dental issues, where many of his teeth have fallen out, this new infection is affecting his sinuses, making it difficult for him to breathe or eat properly. Rhonda, a dedicated single mom with an autistic adult son, has always prioritized her pets’ health. But now, with Rascal’s worsening condition, she’s faced with an expense that exceeds her tight budget.
Rascal has been a true source of comfort to Rhonda’s son, whose bond with the cats helps him stay calm and grounded. Losing another cat just a couple of years ago was devastating for both of them. Rascal’s love and companionship have been invaluable to their well-being. Now, Rhonda needs our help to get him the treatment he so desperately needs.
The medical costs for Rascal’s sinus infection are mounting, and Rhonda cannot afford the full treatment on her own. Your support will go directly toward Rascal’s care, including diagnostic tests and necessary treatments to get him back to his playful, attention-seeking self. We have an approximate price from the vet verbally, and will be getting a written estimate shortly.
