About the Campaign

This sweet senior girl was rescued from an LA shelter after years of being bred.

Princess is a happy girl that likes to eat snacks and hang out with some of her older quieter friends. Unfortunately, due to her neglect and being bred, her whole life developed mammary tumors, which have caused her to have bone cancer!

You can see her swollen shoulder below:

Rescued by Our Family Paws Rescue, they say:

“We would love to put princess through radiation as we know an amputation due to her arthritis and sclerosis of her spine would be too much on her. Princess is still eating well and being kept comfortable on appropriate pain medication, but we would love to see her get use of her leg again and be more comfortable.”

Update: Decided that Princess would not benefit enough from chemotherapy, and amputation is the best option. Updated estimate coming.

I know it isn’t much. But I hope this poor girl gets the treatment she needs. May she find comfort and health for a few more years.
