About the Campaign

Meet Poppop!

The neighborhood’s most popular dog!

Everyone on the block loves Poppop, he is a sweet and friendly dog, and as you can see, very cute as well.

The Problem:

Poppop has an “Oronasal Fistula“, which is a hole through the mouth into the nasal area. This can cause real problems. Not just infections, but it can hurt to drink or eat. This condition can only be treated with surgery.

Poppop’s owner Cuashelle takes him for regular check-ups to the vet, and he has regular medication for a heart murmur he has had for many years. Some months ago she took him because Cuashelle had noticed he was not drinking enough water and sneezing often. The doctor diagnosed him with the Oronasal Fistula and referred Cuashelle to a dental specialist.

The Cost:

She has paid for all that diagnostic work and for the initial consultation with the specialist, over $500.00, but that has left her with no more money. Cuashelle lives on her own, and is currently unemployed and receiving assistance. She manages to pay for the regular care for Poppop but a $3000.00+ surgery is just not something she can cover.

Poppop’s condition is only treatable with surgery, and it requires a specialist. Without surgery his condition will get worse, leading to multiple infections. And it is now painful for him to eat and drink.

Let’s get this sweet boy the surgery he needs! All donations are specifically for Poppop, and paid only to the vet when surgery is performed. Can you help Poppop today?
