VIVA RESCUE RESCUES PUPPIES
Pillar and her six other siblings were rescued from the streets from San Felipe, Baja. She’s a whippet mix and VIVA Rescue thinks she was the runt of the liter, especially since she acts like the baby of the liter. All of her siblings have been adopted, but Pillar and her sister Coco. By providing Pillar with this surgery, VIVA Rescue are confident that she will become more adoptable since this expensive surgery has been a hindrance in getting her adopted. She’s a very special, smart girl who deserves a loving home.
Diagnosis- HIP DYSPLASIA
She can’t have this surgery until she was at least a year old and fully grown. Now that she is over a year old, VIVA Rescue wants to get Pillar this surgery so that they can help her heal and she can get adopted without this surgery becoming a challenge for a potential adopter.
This surgery is very common and is required because one of Pillar’s back leg never grew into her hip bone. If she does not receive this surgery she will have serious arthritis later in life, and it will hinder her mobility.

VIVA rescue blessed me with Reno, my own whippet mix, over a year ago! I am grateful every day that they saved him from the streets of Mexico and would like to pay it forward for Pillar.
