About the Campaign
This Darling Girl is Blue
Blue is a 3/4 year old, American Staffordshire Terrier, who loves spending time with her best friend Zoey, running and playing around, and cuddling up to her owner Jenniefer. Right now, Blue can’t do the things she loves most because she’d begun to break out in strange bumps, all over her body. Blue is even losing hair on her back! What’s causing these unordinary, rash like, pimples is yet to be discovered.
Just last week, Jenniefer took Blue to see Dr. Dan at All Paws Animal Clinic. It was there that they administered some medication and conducted a Skin Scraping. There is however, one more test that needs to be done. The vet would like to rule out ring worm as a possibility. Unfortunately, Jenniefer could not afford this service and had to decline. This test is highly recommended; it will give the vet a chance to properly diagnose and treat Blue’s condition. Once treated, Blue can get back to her normal routine with her family.
Jenniefer rescues animals that are stranded and lost in the high dessert area. This is how she came across Blue. She was rescued from a trailer where she was covered in fleas, barely given food and water, and attached to a 3 foot chain. This was no condition for such a sweet girl. Since then, Jenniefer took Blue in, vetted her and fell in love with her temperment and personality. Blue and Jenniefer have been together for the past two years, Blue being Jenniefer’s service dog.
Blue is so sweet, well behaved, and reminds Jenniefer of her last service dog, Maya. It’s no wonder they clicked instantly. Blue even got along perfectly with Jenniefer’s other dog. Blue is so much like Maya in spirit and in personality, she could easily be a reincarnation.
This is a dual-campaign! First, this fundraiser will serve for Blue’s Ring Worm test and another round of Animax (prescription ointment). Then, we will create a campaign in order to get Blue the treatment she needs. Jenniefer is a single rescuer. She helps animals out of the goodness of her heart and can’t stand to see them roaming the streets. Unfortunately, she’s on limited income and can’t afford much more than she’s done already. Anything helps and a little, helps a lot!
