Entropian, inverted eyelids

Olive has this condition. It is painful, and leads to blindness. Good news! It is easily corrected with minor surgery! (Read about Entropion HERE)

Olive was a puppy mill girl, someone was using her to breed cute puppies for sale. They had put her in a harness and just left it on so long, that as she grew it pressed into her skin. Just neglected and and abused. (Please watch VIDEO above)

Fortunately she somehow got away, and was rescued by a nice person who took her in and got her some care, but could not keep her. The woman’s Home Owners Association would not allow it. Through her Olive came to Susan who has had her a couple months now.

Olive is doing great. Her skin is healed up. She is gaining weight. She is very friendly and getting well socialized. But her eyes!

Maybe the people breeding her dumped her because of the eyes… who knows? But they are bad and painful. The lids fold inward and scratch the eye. But as we said, GOOD NEWS! The doctor has examined her, and they are doing the surgery for both eyes at a very good price, so Olive can get out of pain and maybe even start flashing those pretty eyes at people!
