Very Painful Teeth
Runs from her food bowl, screams!
Olive was rescued as a kitten 13 years-ago. She is a healthy cat, except she has stomatitus. It has been treated and well managed for years now, but has recently gotten worse. As part of the treatment she needs her teeth removed.
Poor Olive is in a lot of pain right now, and will scream if her mouth is touched. It is too painful to even eat food (see the video above). Her owner is actually a vet-tech and has had Olive treated at the vet office where she works. So we have a thorough and complete record of Olive’s care, and are certain this is the best thing for her. Her owner tells us:
“She barely touches her food now even though i blend it up and add tuna etc to entice her. She runs from her bowl and paws at her face and screams. Other than the stomatitis she is very healthy and definitely has a will to live, so I have to give her every chance I can.”
Olive’s owner was not able to work at Sierra Madre Animal Hospital for some time (she had to have seven surgeries last year). Recently she has been able to go back to work on a limited basis. She has arranged care for Olive at a very good discount, and paid for her treatment up to now. In addition she has $250 available but needs help with the rest of the money.
Let’s get Olive out of pain so she can live the rest of her years happy and pain-free, and get back to eat food too!! Thank you.
