About the Campaign

Tumor on his neck!

Niner was at the animal shelter with Oakley. What happened was that Oakley’s owner, Isis, had left both Oakley and Niner with her ex-boyfriend, as she was living in a small apartment. He had owned Niner when they met, and she had Oakley.

She had Oakley chipped to her, and she got a call from the animal shelter that Oakley had been found stray! She rushed down and the staff told her Niner was there with Oakley as well, they had been found together. They both were covered in fleas and definitely appeared neglected for some time. Isis had known Niner was especially sensitive to fleas, allergic, and his condition was the worst, as you can see in the photo below:

The staff told her they had not been able to get in touch with Niner’s owner, and Isis tried too… no luck. She couldn’t leave him there of course, so Isis took both Oakley and Niner home.

Niner and Oakley on a walk:

The issue

Isis cannot keep both dogs where she lives, but she has found a rescue, Angel’s Bark Rescue, that is helping her find a new home for Niner. And Isis took him to the vet and got antibiotics and medications for his skin, which is healing up. But they also found a pretty big lump on his neck.

The doctor wants to remove it, and also do a biopsy, but Isis does not have the money. Fortunately the rescue recommended a good vet that is quite inexpensive! Niner doesn’t need too much money to get his tumor removed, and the biopsy to check it out. With that taken care of he can also get adopted! It is hard for the rescue to find a place for Niner to go when he has this medical condition hanging over him.

All donations here are for Niner, to remove his tumor, and are only paid to the vet when the surgery is performed. No money is paid to the owner or anyone else, other than the doctor!
