Little guy and his brother

lost their home!

Nico and Beanie are now in foster homes with the fabulous rescue Soul2Soul in Oregon. Their owner moved into a women’s shelter and could not keep them after having them for nearly 10 years.

Both of them are good boys, but with bad teeth. Really bad. But Nico also has a strange cough. No one noticed it at first, and his owner did not mention it, but as time went on with his stay in his foster home, they noticed. Nico coughs like there is something in the back of his throat. A short of dry, and airy cough. You can hear it in the video above.

Chunky boy:

The doctor says it might any number of things, and Nico is fat. Like way fat. This boy is 18 pounds, and he could lose 8 of those! That might also be part or all of the problem. The doctor will have a closer look in, with a scope, while Nico is under for his dental work. The rescue already got his brother Beanie done, and he lost 18 teeth, to give you an idea of how bad these boys teeth are.

Nico is also going to get a thyroid check, and a full blood test. He may have a hormonal reason for being over weight, he may just have not been fed properly, and not fed healthy food. All donations are for Nico, for his dental work and diagnostics, paid right to the veterinarian!
