About the Campaign
Nala is a lovely golden retriever that has some nervous tendencies. Nala eats dirt and chews rocks. Unfortunately, Nala has eaten rocks that are too big to pass and they must be surgically removed. While waiting for surgery, Nala developed a UTI and ear infection which meant that surgery needed to be postponed. Now, that she is all better, we don’t want her to have to wait any longer!
David, Nala’s owner wants nothing more for her to be well again and enjoy life with her family. David’s family is a Golden Retriever family. They’ve had Nala since she was just 6 weeks old and now at 7 1/2 year old Nala couldn’t have hoped for a better life. David does all he can to pay for her general care and minor surgery costs but this one is a little out of reach.
David is retired with limited income so it’s a struggle just to cover the bills He cares for his family including Nala and her companion Simba, so when surgery costs hit, they tend to hit hard. So far David has covered x-rays and antibiotics and the treatment or her UTI and ear infection. Let’s help Nala get the surgery she needs. The surgery will be done at Vanderhoof Veterinary Hospital, hopefully in less than 2months. The sooner the better!
