About the Campaign
Her owner Jodie saved up enough to get her surgery for a growth on her head, and a spay… but when at the vet a mammary tumor showed up.
Here is the full story from Jodie:
After her initial exam and workup last Tuesday, I immediately went home and began filing for financial grants and donations through various organizations. I was quickly denied by a few and some are still pending. Some consider this urgent and some don’t, so where all this fits is perplexing. One of the suggestions was to set up this GoFundMe page in hopes the internet world could attract some donors.
As many of you know, we consider our animals more than pets. They become family. They help us with depression, anxiety, stress…you name it. So is the case with Mo! She has been literally by my side through so much. Many of you, my friends and family, know of all the loss I have endured over the past 2 years…Mom, David, and Dad. And both Mo and my cat Kringle have cuddled and snuggled and licked away a lot of the pain.
This mass on her face has been slowly growing larger and becoming a bit of a nuisance for her. On top of which the size was concerning, as it sits in the space between her eye and ear, so both the vet and I were concerned about having enough excess skin area to remove it safely. Hopefully the post op biopsy will come back negative. The spay, well that was obviously necessary, and now there is the worry of the hard mass on her mammary gland.
I’ve had since Feb. to scrimp and save for this, even having to borrow from family, but now with the addition of the mammary mass removal, I have fallen short in finances. Originally the estimate was $885 to $1100 for everything, but has now jumped to possibly $1600 – $1700.
So, as much as one hates to ask for financial help, I humble myself and do so. As a Christian, we are told to ask for help…but as a human, pride often prevents us from doing so.
If you feel led to donate, Mo and I are so very grateful, and please know that in whatever way I (we) can, your generosity will be paid forward!
Blessings to all and thank you for any consideration.
God Bless!
Jodie & Mo
How you can help Mo:
Donations are needed please, and you can share Mo’s story! We hold all donations and pay them only to Mo’s vet, for Mo’s care… so you are donating directly to Mo! Thanks!

I just want to give great big hugs to the donors who helped us out! Mo is doing fine now…a little irritated intestinal tract from the pain meds, but she is healing well. The biopsies on both the growth and the tumor were BENIGN! Praise God!!
I can’t thank Ryan and his crew @Free Animal Doctor enough for getting the word out for help. God sends special people into our lives for special seasons and special reasons! And to have so many Angels out there willing to give what they can…well, extra special blessings!
Again, thank you ALL sooo much! My little girl is home and healing thanks to your help! Keep giving what you can, when you can. Gods blessings!
Love Jodie & Ms. Mo
