About the Campaign
Little Miss Mini
About four years ago Shannan started to notice Mini was showing signs of tooth disease. The first time the vet removed all of Mini’s teeth except the front four. At the time the vet said it would be too drastic to remove all her teeth and there wasn’t any signs of tooth infection on those teeth.
Fast forward to now
Mini is having horrible reaction to the tartar and the infection is eating up her lip. This is the worst case this dental specialist vet has seen. The good news is vet said once her teeth are removed that there will be no more infections. This is the same vet that did the first dental extraction.
Please help this little pup feel better. Mini has suffered brain damage from a horrible seizure she had a few years ago. Shannan nursed her back to health where Mini is able to eat on her own now and she is no longer on seizure medication. But there are still some signs of damage but it doesn’t stop her.
With Shannan having to pay for medication over the years and Mini’s last dental surgery she isn’t able to pay for the dental extractions.
Note from Shannan:
Mini is very timid, uncomfortable and in pain in a lot of them :/ This has been a constant even with the antibiotics I give her twice a day. She does love sleeping though so it comforts me to know that she is not in pain when she is sleeping. You can also see the infection in her teeth in some of the pictures. Hoping to get this fundraiser funded SOON, my baby is so uncomfortable 🙁 In two of the pictures she is on the examination table as we are awaiting the dental specialist to come in to examine her for her exam this past week. She is visibly nervous, anxious and she was shaking so much because she knows the routine. She is such a sweet little girl, she shouldn’t be experiencing such a horrible experience… and its been going on for so long. Hopefully it’ll be over soon!! 🙂
