cancer diagnosis!

Milo is a three year-old, lovable and goofy English Bulldog (watch that video above!). His mom Mariah is a single mom with two human kids, and Milo is their best friend forever omg are you kidding me! And he has had his issues.

Like a lot of Bulldog types he got cherry-eye and had that surgery. And his tail had an issue as well, that Bulldogs also get, and so that was a procedure. But for the last year and more he has been just fine, until in late September Mariah noticed something.

She was petting Milo and felt a bump on his throat. A few visits to the vet and then an oncologist, costing close to $2000, and Milo had a diagnosis and a treatment plan. Poor guy has lymphoma, cancer. He is going to start the CHOP protocol. This is a schedule of treatments with a combination of medications done over months. You can read more about it HERE.

How’s the weather up there?

Milo’s mom is a librarian, and is not exactly rolling in money. She has used some credit to get Milo this far but to get a full CHOP protocol done, he needs donations.
