Mickey needs help!

This poor guy was abandoned by his owners. A horrible lie and constant neglect turned this little guy’s world upside down. L.A. owners, lied and claimed their 10 year old dog passed away and now they have to move and can’t take his playmate who is only 4. They claimed, he was in good health and just needed to be neutered.

Suzanne Mikhail couldn’t stand by and see this adorable face end up in any high kill shelter. She rescued him and took him to get vetted. Come to find out, Mickey has a whole slew of problems. To start off, Mickey was not 4 years old, he was 10. He has horrible gum disease, a tumor on his left hip, and an extremely swollen anal gland.

Mickey is in so much pained he’s extremely irritable. Imagine being in so much pain for so long and then to be cast aside. Take a look at this video when the veterinarian gets too close to his teeth. Mickey is very sweet and loving and especially great with children, he is just in an unfortunate amount of pain.
