Cancer survivor, she needs follow up treatment

Maya had a soft tissue sarcoma, cancer. A big old tumor on her side. But we say “had“, because the doctor removed it!

That is the good news, that and the doctor was able to remove most of it and it has no spread. But the problem is that some cancerous tissue remains. In this situation follow up radiation therapy is the standard treatment.

Maya just had a recheck, and the oncologist (cancer specialist) agrees there is no spread of the cancer, and that radiation therapy should zap it all away. The problem here is that Taylor, Maya’s mom and owner, has spent over $6000 so far, mostly on credit, and has no money or credit left available.

The good news? This is a problem we can all fix for Maya! Donations here are just for Maya and are only paid to the oncologist for Maya’s continued treatment.
