Needs Eye Surgery:
Relief from Pain and Save His Sight
Two months ago, Max’s eyes began leaking green discharge, and he started scratching at them constantly. One eye swelled shut—then it spread to both.
Max is a 10-year-old Border Collie who’s been Kenneth’s emotional support animal for the past eight years. Kenneth adopted him when Max was two years old—his fourth home, but his forever one. Max was timid and broken when he arrived, likely the result of past abuse. He was too scared to bark, flinched at everything, and kept his ears low in fear.
These days, he’s calm, sweet, and gentle—great with kids, cats, and everyone he meets!
When this started Kenneth rushed him to the vet, and Max has since been treated with three different antibiotics and two kinds of pain meds. But the condition has persisted, and now surgery is necessary to heal his painful eye ulcers and prevent long-term damage or blindness.
Kenneth works full-time as a chef at a retirement home and has already spent $1,200 trying to help Max. But he’s struggling to afford rent, and his Care Credit application was declined. Despite everything, he’s stayed focused on doing right by Max—because Max has always been there for him.
Now Max needs your help to get the surgery that will relieve his pain and save his vision. All donations are held by us and go directly to the veterinarian. Any support you can give means the world to both Max and Kenneth.

Poor baby! I hope help comes soon! My little Lucy had to have her eye removed because of an eye ulcer that ruptured. It was so painful for her! Praying she’s pain free soon! 🙏❤️
