About the Campaign

Sweet pupper needs his foot fixed,

and his kids agree!

Marshall is just 7-8 months old. He got out of the yard and came home that night with a broken ankle and toes. His family doesn’t have the money for the surgery he needs, and needs right away, but they do have a brother that works in a vet clinic and got Marshall in at a discount!

What happened is in April the kids, Jahavai, Jeremiah and Scarlett found Marshall running around the sidewalk outside their home. They took him in, and begged mom to keep him. Mom said they had to go around the neighborhood and find his owner!

Well they did, and they found the owner. But when the man told the kids he was the owner, they were so sad that the owner gave them Marshall! He thanked them for doing the right thing, and said if they really wanted him and their mom was OK they could keep him. Imagine how thrilled they were!!

Now kids always want a dog, and mom had not gotten one because she knew they couldn’t really afford it right now. She is in school, community college, and only able to work part-time. But how could she say “no”, especially after the owner gave them the dog!?!

Marshall is in a good home, that loves him and cares for him. So when we were contacted, asked if we would take him and get him healed and adopted, we asked: Do you want to keep him? They did, they just didn’t know that was an option, and the family wanted him to get surgery. Why put a dog from a good home into the adoption process when there are so many stray dogs out there with no home!?! We just rescued two today! No no no…. Marshall needs to stay in his home.

The vet is doing the surgery at a discount, under $1000, and we will get Marshall neutered too. All donations are for Marshall, and paid to the vet for surgery, not the owners or any other person. Please donate in confidence. If you can help Marshall, thank you! And big WOOOOOFS!

I believe this dog should stay with the family because he has a good home with a family that loves him and cares for him. Thank you to the organization and Vet Hospital that has stepped up to help this family and dog🐾
