About the Campaign
She had surgery, and Louella is doing very well!
The video above is Louella shortly after surgery, and her are some photos, including showing the surgery scar:
Stray for a long time, she was hit by a car…
Found standing on a corner as she limped near by the freeway in Downey, CA. A good samaritan saved her has cars drove by, one after the other, and got her to Dream Fetchers Rescue.
She is about 4 years-old, and has a bad skin and ear infection, indicating she has probably been stray for some time. She was whimpering in pain the whole time, and x-rays show she has multiple fractures on her rear legs and hips that will require a specialist.
Dream Fetchers is a reliable and well run rescue that will make sure she receives proper treatment and is adopted once healed. They really need our support for Louella as they were no expecting this expense! All donations are only paid for Louella, no other animal, and only to her vet, so donate in confidence!
