Lola

About the Campaign

This is Lola, the coolest pit mix around. 

Lola is a super loving, 4 year old, gal with some major dental issues. Lola has has a broken left upper canine tooth and a broken rotten left bottom canine tooth both in need of surgical attention. In addition to this, Lola has a lump on her her left side (close to her ribs) a biopsy concluded it was benign but it will need to be removed.

What Happened?

Lola is a rescue that has yet to find her forever home. Lola was rescued by Michelle not too long ago.  She was found running on the freeway by a good Samaritan.His first thought was to call Michelle. Michelle runs a private rescue and does as much for animals in need.  As you can guess, Lola was weak, malnourished, and very frail when found by the gentleman and Michelle. So, Michelle brought Lola home and cared for her in every way he could, this includes going to the vet for a full exam. This is when the issues with Lola’s teeth and the lump were found.

What Now?

In order to find Lola a home, She needs to get well! Michelle wants to do all she can to make this happen. Unfortunately, due to having her own animals and rescuing and relocating the ones she can help, she can’t afford to keep Lola. She will foster and care for Lola until she can properly relocate her into a loving family.

Michelle has set up a Gofundme campaign and is fundraising for Lola’s  surgery.

Conclusion

If you haven’t been able to tell by all the pictures yet, Lola is a happy, loving, dog that just needs a happy loving family. The closer sh get to recovery, the closer she gets to her forever home. There is no set date for surgery as of yet but we hope to raise the funds between now and then.
