About the Campaign
Monday our rescue team got a call:
Owners are giving up a small dog that was mauled by a large dog.
That’s all we knew. Faith Easdale tried to get the finder, Joanne, into an ER but the one we use most often was closed… then we lost contact with Joanne. Before hospitalization photo:
But this morning Pat Bonham got to Joanne and got the dog into Bear Valley Animal Hospital in Apple Valley, CA. She is in surgery now, we are waiting for updates. At this moment we do not have a lot of information, but we wanted to set up this fundraiser right away to make an easy place for people to donate. Many have already donated and we will be adding those donations here shortly, THANK YOU!!!
Now at the vet:
Also, Pat donated $1000 right to the vet to get her in, AMAZING!
(future updates will be in the updates box… left side on desktop, scroll down on phone)
Doctor reports that one lung is punctured, and has blood inside the lung. This is not good. Punctured lungs are very dangerous, and fluid in the lungs is as well. However, her blood work is good, meaning she is healthy and hopefully strong. They are using a laser to promote healing, and monitoring her carefully. And, her condition is listed as “Stable”.
