About the Campaign

Watch the video above,

such a sweetie!

This little Chihuahua girl, she is jut 5 pounds, was found stray wandering the streets. The people who found her are not a rescue, and though they were trying to help they just gave her out to someone as an adoption with no vetting.

Those people said she was very lethargic, and had a bad rash on her belly. They decided they did not want her and were going to take her to Riverside Animal Shelter. Unfortunately, with her age and condition, that would probably end up with her being put to sleep.

Fortunately our rescue team (Facebook HERE) heard about the case and was able to intervene. We got the original rescuers to take her to Camino Pet Hospital in Irvine over the weekend, where she was diagnosed with mammary tumors. She also has bad teeth, and is not spayed. Oh, and this little sweetheart is older, maybe 10 years or so? That means she needs a full blood panel, to make sure she can have surgery.

Little Precious and Hedi (from the clinic):

In all it is looking like about $1500-2000 to get her taken care of! Camino Pet Hospital named her Precious, and we have already arranged a foster home! All Precious needs now is her medical situation taken care of. The tumor are still small and the doctor is very positive on her prognosis. All donations go to help Precious get her surgery, paid right to the vet! Thank you.
